European Real Estate Forum (EUREF)

the international real estate congress of CIB Vlaanderen, CEPI and FIABCI-Belgium

From October 9 to 11 included, CIB Vlaanderen, the most important association of real estate professionals in Belgium, welcomes you to the European Real Estate Forum (EUREF), in collaboration with the international associations, CEPI and FIABCI-Belgium.

After eight successful editions of its national real estate congress, the most important event in the matter in Belgium, CIB launches for the first time the exploration of the European real estate market during a 3 days congress. EUREF will be under the sign of professional and knowledge exchanges. An occasion which should not to be missed by Belgian and European real estate professionals, to network with property developers, brokers, agents and investors coming from many other European countries.

The European Real Estate Forum (EUREF), will be held at the same time as the BIS (Bouw Immo Salon: construction and real estate exhibition), which starts on October 11. Since years BIS is the largest and most important real estate exhibition of Flanders. In 2007, some 378 exhibitors, were present in 6 halls in Flanders Expo (Gent) and presented their products to nearly 84,000 interested visitors.

Program

Thursday October 9

CIB Vlaanderen welcomes CEPI, the European organization heading the whole of the real estate professions (agents, managers, brokers, etc...), to its congress. The key event of this special CEPI day, with its workshops and seminars for the members of associations related to CEPI, will be the meeting of CEPI’s Board of Directors during the EUREF.

Friday October 10

CIB will reproduce the shock formula of its other congresses i.e, morning 10 interesting workshops which will treat all aspects of real estate broking. In the afternoon, during the plenary meeting, some political tenors will discuss on the theme: “Where will be the real estate sector in 2018?”. Five workshops are planned on international topics with simultaneous translation (Nl, Fr, En).

Saturday October 11

the EUREF participants will be able not only to visit for free the BIS exhibition (on that day late business hours will be planned), but also to visit in the morning, with a guide, some real estate projects planned by the town of Gent.

Location

The congress will take place in the buildings of Flanders Expo exhibition centre and in the Holiday Inn of Gent. Besides its exhibition grounds, Flanders Expo disposes of 4 auditoriums of 120 places each (or 2 of 240 persons) with cabins for simultaneous translation and a forum for 700 people. In the halls you will find stands for exhibitors and you will have the possibility to take something to eat. Coffee will be served in hall 1.

The hotel Holiday Inn is located at 30m fromf the exhibition and has 6 atrium and conference rooms. The opening dinner will take place there.
